To prepare delicious pea porridge with raw smoked bacon, we prepare the necessary products.

We thoroughly wash four hundred grams of split peas in a deep bowl, then pour cold water into it, which completely covers the peas.
STEP 3
Pour half a tablespoon of baking soda into the bowl with the peas.
STEP 4
Mix the peas and soda well in a bowl and set it aside for thirty minutes.
STEP 5
Cut one hundred grams of raw smoked bacon into arbitrary pieces.
STEP 6
Place the bacon cut into pieces in a frying pan and lightly fry it over high heat on the stove.
STEP 7
Roughly, but not too coarsely, chop half a large onion.
STEP 8
Place the chopped onions in the pan with the bacon.
STEP 9
Stirring, fry the onion in a frying pan with bacon until transparent, then remove the frying pan from the stove.
STEP 10
We rinse the swollen peas in a bowl very well under running water, and then put them in a pan suitable for cooking.

Pour one and a half liters of water into a saucepan with peas and place it on the stove and bring it to a boil over high heat.

Remove the resulting foam from the peas boiling in the pan.

Cover the pan with a lid and continue cooking the peas for about fifteen minutes.

Place the prepared bacon and onion dressing into the pan with the peas.

Mix all the ingredients well in the pan, then close it with a lid and continue cooking the peas over medium heat on the stove.
STEP 16
After twenty minutes, pour salt to taste into the pan with pea porridge.
STEP 17
Mix all the ingredients, then turn off the stove, close the pan with a lid and let the prepared pea porridge with bacon brew for about five minutes.

After five minutes, place the cooked pea porridge with bacon on portioned plates and serve.
