Pasta with tomato paste

Made from simple ingredients, but very tasty! Hastily. Pasta with tomato paste is a universal dish that can be made in just half an hour. It can be served as a side dish for meat and poultry, or as a self-sufficient main dish.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pasta with tomato paste? Prepare all the necessary products. Take pasta in any desired shape: some like shells, some like feathers, and some really like spaghetti. Vegetable oil can be anything: expensive olive oil or cheap sunflower oil. But since oil is needed for frying, it must be refined so as not to burn in the pan.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

First, let the pasta cook. To do this, boil water in a saucepan. Place pasta only in boiling water, otherwise they will definitely stick together. Salt the water to taste.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

    Add pasta.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally so that the pasta does not stick to the pan or stick together. The time for which pasta should be cooked is always written on the package, so you will have to study it carefully.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. If you like to feel pieces of vegetables in the finished sauce, cut larger, if you like a more homogeneous sauce, cut smaller.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat oil in a frying pan, add chopped onion.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Then add chopped garlic. I put it through the press. But you can also chop the garlic with a knife or grate it on a fine grater. If you don't have fresh garlic, you can use garlic powder.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Fry everything, stirring, until golden brown. This will take about 5-7 minutes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Add tomato paste. I prefer to use homemade tomato paste, but you can use store-bought tomato paste and replace it with ketchup.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Add salt and sugar to taste. Boil the sauce until thick. This will take about 5 minutes. Then remove the sauce from the heat.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Drain the pasta in a colander and place on a plate.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Top the pasta with tomato sauce and serve immediately. Bon appetit!

Great dish for dinner, I make it often. You can also make this recipe with minced meat - it’s more satisfying!

Pasta with tomato paste is the perfect combination for me. That's why I prepared this recipe today. I like that it takes very little time to prepare a complete dish. I used homemade tomato. When chopping the onions, I didn’t chop the onions and added dry parsley to the almost finished tomato mass. As expected, it turned out delicious! Thanks for the recipe

I made pasta with tomato paste as a side dish for fried chicken. The first thing I did was put a pot of water on the fire for the pasta, and then I started making the sauce. I cut the onion into small cubes to make the sauce more homogeneous. Grate a clove of garlic. Fried vegetables in vegetable oil. Added tomato paste when the onion became transparent. To prevent the sauce from burning, I cooked it over low heat. Drained the finished spaghetti in a colander and placed it on plates. I added sauce on top. My husband liked this side dish! The sauce went perfectly with the chicken. The second one came out juicy and piquant! Thank you very much for the recipe!
