  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry fluffy yeast pancakes without eggs in water? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Add sugar and dry yeast to warm (37-40°C) water. Before using yeast, you need to read the instructions. There are yeasts that need to be mixed with flour right away, and there are those that need to be activated by mixing with warm liquid (water or milk). We need yeast that needs to be activated in warm liquid. You can learn about different types of yeast in a separate article using the link at the end of the recipe.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Stir the mixture and leave in a warm place for 10 minutes until a fluffy cap appears on the surface. If a cap appears, this means that the yeast has been activated and you can continue cooking. If there is no foam, it means the yeast is either expired, of poor quality, or was stored incorrectly. Dough made from such yeast will not rise because the living organisms in it have died.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour the mixture into a deep bowl. Add salt to the yeast mixture and stir.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Sift the flour. Thanks to this, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished pancakes will turn out more tender and fluffy. Add the flour to the yeast mixture little by little. Stir the dough until smooth. Depending on the quality of flour, you may need a little more or a little less. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and leave it warm for about 30 minutes. During this time, stir the dough a couple of times. This is necessary in order to release the accumulated carbon dioxide from it and saturate the mixture with oxygen so that the yeast can “breathe” and raise the dough further. This will make the dough porous and airy.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. Read about how to choose the ideal frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe. Place the dough with a tablespoon soaked in cold water so that the dough does not stick to it, forming small round pancakes. Fry the yeast pancakes on both sides until golden brown over medium heat.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Transfer the finished pancakes to a plate and serve immediately. Bon appetit!

I usually cook yeast pancakes using milk and adding eggs to the dough. I'll remember this recipe too.

Insanely delicious pancakes were made using this recipe. They are really good without any additives. Lush, soft, very appetizing. Pancakes without eggs on water are prepared very simply and quite quickly. The dough is prepared with yeast, but the yeast is not noticeable in the taste of the finished pancakes. I put the dough into the pan with a teaspoon, so the pancakes turned out small. I highly recommend it for cooking! Maria, thank you very much for the recipe!
