Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 30 mins
STEP 1
Cook the rice. Cut the onion into half rings. And chicken fillet in cubes. Place a wide frying pan on the stove. Pour soy sauce into it and fry the onion in the sauce for about 2 minutes.
STEP 2
Then add the fillet and fry until done.
STEP 3
Beat the eggs. Add to the chicken and onions. Stir, cover the pan tightly with a lid and keep on medium heat for about 4 minutes.
STEP 4
Place the resulting mixture on top of the cooked rice. Sprinkle with finely chopped onion.

The Japanese have such interesting cuisine... should I try this oyakodon of yours for the sake of variety? I would never think of adding eggs to fried rice, does it add something to the dish or not? And no spices are needed here, like pepper there?
