    How to bake fish in the oven with cheese? Prepare your food. I will bake mackerel, but you can use fillets of any fish - cod, hake, tilapia, pink salmon. If the fish was frozen, defrost it first. Any cheese is suitable for this dish - hard, semi-hard, soft, such as mozzarella. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes and melts well.

    Gut the fish - cut the belly and remove the insides along with the black film, it can be bitter. Wash the carcass well on all sides, then dry with paper towels. Cut off the head and tail. Cut the fillet - to do this, cut the carcass along the ridge to the spine. Turn over onto its side. Using a sharp knife, cut the meat from the spinal bone. Turn the carcass over and cut off the fillet on the other side.

    Take a baking dish and grease it with olive oil. Place the prepared fillet into the pan. Season with salt, pepper and any spices for fish. Sprinkle the fillets with lemon juice.

    Peel the onion and cut it into thick rings. I used purple onions, but regular onions will do.

    Also cut the olives into rings - each olive into 2-3 parts. That is why it is better to take pitted olives. If you have a seed, then crush it with the bottom of a glass, remove the seed, and cut the fruit itself into several parts.

    Place onion rings on top of the fish and arrange the chopped olives.

    Take a tomato. Remove the skin from it. How to easily peel tomatoes? Wash them and make cross cuts on top with a sharp knife. Place in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Remove, cool slightly and remove the skin. It will be very easy to do this due to a sharp temperature change.

Oh, and I prepared delicious fish thanks to the recipe from the author katushafin! I cut the mackerel into fillets and placed them in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Sprinkled the fish with fish spices. I didn't add salt, because... the spice already contains salt. I cut the onion into half rings and placed it on the fish. I cut the olives into rings and added them to the onions. I didn't add tomatoes. I put it in the oven to bake at 180° for 15 minutes. Then sprinkled with grated cheese and another 10 minutes! Juicy, tender and very tasty fish! An excellent option for dinner, even without a side dish. Thank you very much katushafin for the delicious recipe and I advise you to try it 😊
