  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make an omelet in the microwave for a child? Prepare your food. For one serving you need exactly 2 eggs, since in the microwave the omelette turns out to be slightly smaller than with traditional preparation. You can change the amount of water and milk at your discretion, increase or decrease, cook only with water or only with milk. An omelet made with 10% cream turns out very tasty.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the eggs well and dry. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Beat the eggs into a bowl. Add salt to taste.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Lightly beat the eggs with a hand whisk or a regular fork.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour water and milk into the egg mixture. Whisk, this time thoroughly, all the ingredients for the omelette. You should get a homogeneous fluffy mass. If the omelette is not stirred well, there may be solid pieces of unmixed protein left in the omelette.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Use suitable utensils for microwave cooking. Pour the egg mixture into it. From my own experience, I was convinced that you don’t need to pour it all the way to the top - the omelette needs space to rise.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cover the dish with a plate and place in the microwave. Cook the omelet on high for 3 to 5 minutes. At 750W, my omelette was ready in 3.5 minutes. Take it out of the microwave. Be careful, the dishes will be very hot!

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Serve the omelette to the table. You can use the same container in which you cooked, waiting until it cools down. A small amount of water will release during cooking, this is normal - just drain it. Bon appetit!

I made an omelet in the microwave for a child using this recipe. How simple it is, and how delicious it is!!! The omelet turned out to be the most tender, light, it just melts in your mouth! I made it from homemade eggs, added a pinch of salt, poured water and milk according to the recipe. I baked it in the microwave for exactly 3 minutes, as the author writes, at a maximum power of 800 W in microwave mode, covering with a lid. Everything is very simple and fast, even a novice cook can handle it. After cooking, I transferred the omelette to a plate, and there was water in the bowl under the omelette. Therefore, you need to drain the water first) Next time I’ll try adding another pinch of ground coriander) Thank you for the recipe!

For a change, I decided to cook eggs for breakfast. I liked the recipe for an omelet in the microwave for a child on the site. The process is quick and there is no need to wash the frying pan. I measured out the ingredients, washed the eggs with soap and dried them. Replaced milk with 10% cream. Beat everything with a fork until there are air bubbles. This amount was enough for two molds; I didn’t fill it to the brim. First I greased the molds with sunflower oil. When the omelette mixture was already poured out, I wanted to add something. I added pieces of red sweet pepper and half of the sausage, also in pieces. I cooked it in a 750 W microwave. 3 minutes for each mold separately. I put a plate under the uniform in case of escape). But everything worked out, the omelet remained in the molds. It turned out airy, layered, soft! The omelette didn't dry out! My daughter and I loved this breakfast - delicious and nutritious!

I gave my eldest daughter an omelet after a year; before, she didn’t want to eat our food)) But the youngest daughter, from the age of 9 months, devoured it by the two cheeks! All children are different. An excellent omelet recipe that I learned to cook in the microwave. It can be safely introduced as complementary food to the little ones)
