    Products for salad Old Miller. Potatoes, carrots, eggs, chicken fillet are boiled and cooled. Eggs are shelled. The mushrooms are cleaned and thoroughly washed.

    Coarsely chop the onions and mushrooms.

    In a pre-heated frying pan, remove excess water from the mushrooms by stirring them. Then put them in a bowl.

    Place the onion in the same frying pan and fry until half cooked.

    Add mushrooms to the onions and fry everything until tender, add salt and pepper. Let cool.

    Grate carrots and potatoes on a coarse grater. Set aside some carrots to decorate the salad.

    Cut salted or pickled cucumbers into thin slices. Squeeze out excess liquid and drain. Cut the fillet into strips.

    Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and finely chop the eggs. Set aside a piece of cheese to decorate the salad.

    Let's start assembling the salad. Grease each layer with a small amount of mayonnaise and sprinkle with a small amount of cheese. We leave the cheese specially to cover the top layer of the salad, hide it in the refrigerator so that it does not dry out. Place the cooled mushrooms and onions on a large dish - this is the first layer of the salad. Spread a little mayonnaise on top and sprinkle a little cheese.

    The next layer is potatoes. Salt, pepper, grease with mayonnaise, sprinkle with cheese. On top - a layer of cucumbers, mayonnaise, cheese.

    Next: carrots-mayonnaise-cheese.

    Next layer: place the fillet, pepper, salt - mayonnaise - cheese. Then: eggs-mayonnaise. Place the salad in the refrigerator for several hours to soak the layers. Take it out before serving and grate the specially reserved cheese on top.

    I decorated the finished salad with a mill of cheese and carrots, herbs and dill and parsley trees. That's it, the salad is ready. Enjoy your tasting!

I am a big fan of mushrooms, especially I love champignons in any form. I cook with it often, from first courses to appetizers. This was the first time I came across this salad and it inspired me. Very easy to prepare, but so delicious that words cannot describe it. I tried using pickled corn instead of cucumbers and it turned out very tasty too.
