Oatmeal cookies with almonds
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make oatmeal cookies with almond flakes? Prepare the ingredients listed in the recipe. Remove the milk and egg from the refrigerator in advance so that they warm up to room temperature. Take bananas that are medium in size, bright yellow, ripe and aromatic. It is better to use medium or finely ground oatmeal. If you have large oatmeal, grind it in a coffee grinder or blender.
STEP 2

Wash the bananas, dry with paper towels, and peel. Transfer to a container and mash into a paste with a fork. It is better not to use a blender, as the consistency may be too liquid.
STEP 3

Add oatmeal and honey to the banana puree. Pour in the milk.
STEP 4

Mix the mixture thoroughly with a fork.
STEP 5

In a separate container, whisk the egg until smooth.
STEP 6

Add it to the banana-oat mixture and stir.
STEP 7

Place the mixture in a warm place for 7-10 minutes, during which time the flakes will absorb all the moisture. If there is still liquid left, add a couple more tablespoons of oatmeal. Stir and let the mixture sit for another 5 minutes.
STEP 8

Line a baking sheet with oiled parchment paper. Spoon the resulting dough into small round cookies. I decided to put the cookies in small silicone muffin tins. The products will be easy to remove from them and will not burn. Place almonds or walnuts in the middle. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Bake for approximately 35 minutes until golden brown.
