Oatmeal cookies made from banana and oat flakes PP

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make oatmeal cookies from banana and PP oatmeal? Prepare your food. For such cookies, you should not use instant oatmeal, but regular rolled oats. How to choose oatmeal, read the article below the steps. Bananas should be ripe and sweet enough to avoid adding sugar to cookies. Dried fruits and nuts can be used as healthy additives. Chicken eggs are not needed, the banana binds the mass well.
STEP 2

Wash the bananas and remove the peel. Puree them using a blender. If the bananas are very ripe and soft, then you can chop them with a regular fork. If the bananas are overripe, the dough will be more flexible and the cookies will be softer and sweeter. Therefore, for those who want to get a lower-calorie treat, it is better to use unripe greenish bananas.
STEP 3

Grind one part of the oatmeal using a coffee grinder or other device until it becomes flour. The proportions of crushed and whole flakes affect the degree of softness of the cookies; the more oatmeal there is in the dough and the less whole flakes, the softer the cookies will be.
STEP 4

Add oatmeal, whole and chopped, to the banana mixture. Add a pinch of vanillin and baking powder. Stir and leave the mixture to stand for 20 minutes so that the oatmeal swells properly. You will learn all the subtleties of using vanillin and baking powder in the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 5

Meanwhile, rinse the raisins thoroughly, pour boiling water over them and leave for 15 minutes until they swell well. In addition to raisins, you can take dried apricots and prunes, washing them and cutting them into small pieces. Take dried fruits without seeds. Drain the swollen raisins, then dry them with paper towels. Add the raisins to the oat mixture.
STEP 6

Line a baking sheet with parchment or grease with oil. Spoon the dough onto it, forming small cookies. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake cookies for about 25 minutes, until golden brown. Times and temperatures are approximate, refer to your oven. Read about how ovens work in the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 7

Remove the finished cookies from the baking sheet, let them cool and serve. Bon appetit!
