Tasty and fast, appetizing and fluffy, the most delicious! Cookies made from oatmeal are different from store-bought ones. It is more uniform, not so crumbly and more dense, because there are no flakes in it, only flour. This pastry is perfect for a family tea party.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cookies from oatmeal? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take large, selected eggs. If the eggs are small, second category, take 3 of them. Use premium quality wheat flour. You can take ready-made store-bought oatmeal, or you can make your own by grinding oatmeal in a coffee grinder. Butter and sour cream must be of high quality and comply with GOST.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Melt the butter and cool slightly. Read at the end of the recipe for instructions on how to melt the butter.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place sour cream in a deep bowl, add sugar, pour in melted butter. Mix everything with a whisk until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add eggs and mix again until smooth. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add baking powder and mix everything again.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Separately sift both types of flour into a bowl. It is necessary to sift the flour. Firstly, it may contain unground or poorly ground particles, and secondly, during sifting, the flour is saturated with oxygen and the cookies will turn out more airy.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add the sifted flour to the egg mixture and knead into a soft, pliable, homogeneous dough. You may need less or more flour, since different manufacturers have different properties.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

At first, the dough will stick to your hands, but as the flour absorbs moisture, it will increasingly lag behind your hands and the walls of the bowl. If necessary, you can add another 1-2 tbsp. l. oatmeal

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Divide the dough into small pieces the size of a walnut and roll them into even balls.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet at a distance from each other and slightly flatten on top. Place the oatmeal cookies in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15-20 minutes. The times are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

The finished cookies will take on a light golden hue, and cracks will appear on the surface. It is important not to overcook the cookies in the oven so that they do not dry out and burn on the bottom. Bon appetit!

Delicious! You can also add an apple for taste.

The cookies turned out decent. The structure is close to gingerbread, the taste is interesting, although it would not hurt, in accordance with what was said earlier, to add cloves, for example, nutmeg, cinnamon... just to be completely classic (IMHO). When cooking, it is worth focusing on how much it is baked, because for someone, like me, either the temperature or time may not be enough. The ratio of wheat and oat flour is perfectly adjusted, because... the consistency is ready for modeling, and during processing beautiful cracks appear. Thanks for this recipe.

Thank you very much! Good recipe, for the first time I got a normal dough, I made it exactly according to this recipe, I didn’t even have to add or reduce anything, although it turned out a little dry. And I would also add more sugar next time I cook.

I did everything exactly according to the recipe, but the dough did not set like in the video. I had to add 1 more egg. But the dough still turned out dense. So are the cookies. I don’t know how this happened... Next time I’ll add less flour

Cookies are baked once or twice. Fast, inexpensive, simple and effortless. The result is a homemade, healthy tea treat. I made the oatmeal myself by grinding oatmeal in a coffee grinder. The dough turned out a little sticky, but I didn’t add any flour. The cookie blanks are easy to form, hold their shape perfectly, nothing spreads. The amount of ingredients is indicated exactly, for which we thank the author. The only thing I added were peanuts. I love nuts very much and add them wherever possible. It was delicious!)))
