STEP 1

Grind the butter and sugar until white, add the whipped yolks, add salt and baking powder.
STEP 2

Add flour, mix and add whipped whites and cognac. Mix carefully from top to bottom.
STEP 3

The filler can be anything. It could be raisins, dried apricots, nuts, prunes, etc. I once bought these “Chocolate Drops”. On the back of the package I found this very recipe.

Mix the dough with the filling of your choice. I added "Chocolate Drops".
STEP 5

I also added dried apricots.
STEP 6

Mix.
STEP 7

Divide the dough into the molds 2/3 full.
STEP 8

You can make glaze, or you can do without it. You can melt the chocolate, you can prepare the glaze to your liking. I had a bag of ready-made glaze.
STEP 9

Bake at 180 degrees until done, about 20 minutes. You can check readiness with a toothpick.
STEP 10

Pour glaze over muffins. Our delicious cupcakes are ready! Bon appetit!
