Moose meat with bacon in the oven
If you don't know what to cook with elk meat, this recipe is for you! An excellent recipe for cooking such exotic meat in our area as elk. You can’t buy it in stores :) But if you still have this delicious dietary treat, I suggest cooking it in the oven. With aromatic spices and bacon. It is delicious!

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Rub a thoroughly washed and dried piece of elk meat with salt and spices on all sides. Peel the garlic, cut into slices and stuff into the elk meat, making cuts.
STEP 2

Wrap the elk meat tightly in bacon and tie with string.
STEP 3

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the wrapped piece until golden brown on both sides.
STEP 4

Line a baking sheet with foil and grease it with butter. Place the fried piece of elk meat on it and wrap it in foil.
STEP 5

Bake the meat at 80 degrees (it is important that the temperature does not rise above 90 degrees) for 5 hours.
STEP 6

Remove the finished meat from the foil, let it cool slightly and serve. Bon appetit!
