  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make delicious and tender cutlets with loaf? Prepare all the necessary products. You can use any minced meat. The recipe used mixed minced pork and beef. Take white bread; a baguette or loaf works well here, as well as slices of toasted bread.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour milk into a deep cup or plate and immerse pieces of bread in it. Leave for three to five minutes so that the pieces absorb the milk and swell.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the minced meat into a deep bowl, beat in one chicken egg and add finely chopped onion in advance.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Salt and pepper to taste. At this stage, you can add garlic powder and any other spices to your taste. This can be dried basil or oregano, a pinch of nutmeg, suneli hops, barbecue seasoning and others.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add softened bread to the meat mixture, pour milk into the minced meat.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Mix everything thoroughly and leave to brew for a while. Usually 5-10 minutes is enough.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place some breadcrumbs in a wide plate. Use a tablespoon to scoop out the minced meat. If you have thick minced meat, then form the cutlets with your hands. Since I pour milk into the meat, the minced meat is not dense, so I form the cutlets with a spoon.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the minced meat in breadcrumbs.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Sprinkle with breading on all sides and form into a patty.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Do the same with the rest of the minced meat and breadcrumbs.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Reduce heat to medium-low and place cutlets in skillet. Fry for 15 to 20 minutes, until an appetizing golden color appears and the cutlets are half cooked.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Then turn the cutlets over and fry until fully cooked for 15-20 minutes. I don’t cover the pan with a lid; the cutlets come out crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Ready! Serve hot with fresh vegetables or salad.

I haven’t fried meat cutlets for a long time; I cook more and more with fish. I specially took a kilogram of pulp for cutlets, although the pork was a little fatty. I took all the products in double quantity. Many housewives take only the crumb from the bread, but I don’t bother with this, especially since the blender grinds everything into a homogeneous mass. I didn’t add any spices other than black pepper; I wanted the pure taste of the meat. The minced meat stood for 10 minutes, then I beat it well and left it for another 10 minutes. After this, the cutlets were perfectly molded with slightly damp hands. The pieces were rolled in finely ground breadcrumbs. I didn’t make too many preparations so that the crackers didn’t have time to get wet. It’s really better not to use the lid, I tried it, but the cutlets began to crack. It’s better to heat the frying pan well, keep the heat on high for a minute, then turn it down to low and fry until done. It's the same on the other side. I didn’t steam the cutlets; they had time to cook inside. The cutlets turned out mega juicy! Soft inside and crispy outside. They are filling on their own, but with a side dish they become a complete dinner. I like the clean taste of the meat, and the meat juice oozes through the crust. Thanks for this recipe!
