    Wash the potatoes, peel and grate on a medium grater. Do not squeeze the juice out of the potatoes - the starch contained in the potatoes will make the minced meat more plastic and sticky. Adding potatoes will make the cutlets more juicy and filling. For the same purpose, bread is added to the minced meat. Soak a couple of pieces of stale white bread in milk so that it swells, then mash it with a spoon into a homogeneous mass.

    Place chopped onions, a clove of garlic passed through a press and grated potatoes into a bowl with minced meat. Place the bread and milk there too. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.

The minced meat for the cutlets should be juicy and slightly moist; if the milk does not provide enough moisture, you can add a little water. A couple of tablespoons will be enough.

    With wet hands, form cutlets into any shape. I made them round, but you can make them oval. Roll them in flour or breadcrumbs.

First, you can cover it with foil, bake for about 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes. The cutlets should be well browned, but they should not dry out. I prepared minced meat cutlets in the oven according to this recipe. I used home-bought minced pork and chicken. I grated onions, garlic, potatoes and mixed them with minced meat. I soaked the loaf in milk, cut off the crust, and also added it to the minced meat. The only spice I added was salt. From the resulting mass I formed cutlets with wet hands, rolled them in flour and baked them in the oven for half an hour. This is a very simple and quick recipe. The cutlets turned out tasty, juicy, golden brown and healthy. They are not greasy, not fried, but very aromatic and appetizing. Served with mashed potatoes for dinner. Everyone was very pleased.
