STEP 1
How to simmer meatballs in tomato sauce in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. It is better to use mixed minced meat, from pork and beef, taken in equal parts. Meatballs made from this minced meat will turn out juicy and tasty. To make the dish less caloric, you can use minced poultry. Minced meat can be minced from fresh meat or used ready-made.
STEP 2
Peel the onions and cut into cubes. One onion will be used for preparing minced meat, the second for sauce.

Wash the carrots, peel and grate.
STEP 4
In a bowl with minced meat, add finely chopped onions, salt and ground black pepper to taste. If desired, you can add any other spices and seasoning for meat. Those who like spicier and more savory dishes can add dry adjika. Mix the mixture thoroughly until the minced meat has a uniform consistency.
STEP 5
Form the minced meat into small balls. It is more convenient to do this with your hands soaked in water. Roll the balls in wheat flour poured into a bowl. Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan and put on fire. Place the meatballs in the pan.
STEP 6
Fry the meatballs in hot oil over medium heat, turning them with a spatula, until golden brown on all sides. This will take approximately 15 minutes. Remove the finished meatballs from the pan.

Add a little vegetable oil to the frying pan and fry the cooked onions and carrots over medium heat, stirring, until lightly browned.
STEP 8
Place tomato paste in a frying pan with vegetables and pour in half a glass of water. Stir the mixture and let it boil.
STEP 9
Place the cooked meatballs into the boiling sauce and simmer them in tomato sauce over medium heat under the lid for about 30 minutes. Then remove the lid and if the sauce seems runny, let it simmer a little. Turn off the heat.
STEP 10
Serve the minced meatballs in tomato sauce hot with or without a side dish, with fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
