STEP 1
How to make meatballs in sour cream sauce in the oven? Take the products from the list.
STEP 2
First, let the rice cook, first rinse it in several waters until transparent. Peel the onion and chop it with a knife or grate it.
STEP 3
Prepare the minced meat: if it is frozen, defrost it, if you have a piece of meat, then cut it into large pieces and grind it using a meat grinder or blender. Add onion to the minced meat.
STEP 4
Separate the whites from the yolks and beat the two whites until foamy using a whisk or mixer.
STEP 5
Add whipped egg whites, salt, ground pepper and boiled rice to our minced meat. Mix everything thoroughly. Now put the minced meat in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. During this time, prepare the filling.
STEP 6
For the sauce, peel and grate the carrots and onions, although you can simply chop the onions with a knife if you prefer.
STEP 7
Fry the prepared vegetables until golden brown in a frying pan with vegetable oil, stirring over medium heat. They should become soft.
STEP 8
Add 5 tablespoons of sour cream with a fat content of 15-20% (you can add more sour cream if desired) and spices to taste. Mix a spoonful of flour in a mug with water and pour it into the roast. Peel and finely chop the garlic and also add to the pan to the total mass. Stir the mixture, bring to a boil and turn off. The gravy turns out quite thick.
STEP 9
Now make medium-sized meatballs: wet your hands with water, form balls, roll them in flour and place them in a frying pan or any other container in which you will bake them. The main thing is that they are laid in one layer.
STEP 10
Then pour sour cream sauce over our meatballs and place in a preheated oven (200 degrees). Simmer for about 30 minutes. Remove the finished dish from the oven and serve with a side dish. Bon appetit!
