Meat hedgehogs on an onion bed in a frying pan

STEP 1
Prepare food.
STEP 2
Peel and chop the onion. One onion will go into the minced meat, one into the sauce. The one for minced meat needs to be chopped finer.
STEP 3
Wash the rice thoroughly under running water. Place minced meat, onion and rice in a bowl.
STEP 4
Add salt and spices. Mix well.
STEP 5
We make cutlets in the form of balls. To prevent the minced meat from sticking to your hands, moisten them with water before each cutlet.
STEP 6
Heat a frying pan and pour oil into it. Place the cutlets.
STEP 7
Fry future hedgehogs on both sides. Remove from the pan.
STEP 8
In the same frying pan, fry the onion. I cleaned it and filled it with fresh oil.
STEP 9
Fry the onion briefly until transparent. Add tomato paste and stir.
STEP 10
Return the cutlets to the pan, placing them on the onion bed. Pour in a glass of boiling water.
STEP 11
Cover with a lid. Simmer the hedgehogs for 45-50 minutes. Turn them over periodically so that they cook evenly. As the water evaporates, add it. Bon appetit!
