Regular mashed potatoes can be prepared and served very beautifully! Thanks to the recipe katushafin: mashed potatoes baked in the oven with cheese, I was convinced of this. First, everything was as usual: I washed the potatoes, peeled them and set them to boil. During this time, I grated the cheese on a fine grater. When the potatoes were cooked, I drained the water, mashed them with a masher, added butter, cheese and mixed thoroughly. Then I put the puree into a pastry bag with a star tip and placed the “cakes” on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment. I brushed it with beaten yolk and put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 200°. It turned out to be a fragrant, tender, slightly crusty, delicious puree!!!
