Beat sugar with eggs.

Add flour with baking powder and mix until smooth. Prepare the mold, grease it with oil. You can bake 2 cakes separately or 1 cake and then cut it.

Pour the dough into the mold, place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, bake for 25-30 minutes. Check the readiness of the biscuit with a toothpick or a dry knife. We pierce the biscuit in the middle; if the biscuit is ready, the end of the knife or toothpick will be clean.

In the meantime, let's prepare the cream. Beat the sour cream, adding powdered sugar in several additions. Place the finished cream in the refrigerator to thicken it.

Cut the finished and cooled sponge cake into two layers.

Spread with sour cream and sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.
STEP 9
Place the second cake layer on top. And coat the entire cake with sour cream.

Using a knife, scrape the chocolate chips off the chocolate.

Sprinkle the edges of the cake with chocolate shavings and place the cake in the refrigerator to soak and harden the cream.

Preparing chocolate decoration. Melt the chocolate in a water bath.

We prepare a drawing for chocolate figures and a dense file in advance. You can also draw on parchment paper. Place the drawing under the file and fill a confectionery syringe or bag with melted chocolate. And carefully trace the drawing according to the file.

Then we move the drawing and trace it further. Try to extrude thicker lines so that the finished figures are stable. Draw a few more shapes as they may break.

We place a flat tray or board under the drawn figures and put them in the refrigerator to harden.
STEP 16
Remove the cake from the refrigerator and sprinkle the sides of the cake with chocolate chips.
