Mackerel baked with vegetables in cream in the oven

STEP 1

Wash the thawed mackerel, cut off the head and tail, cut the belly, take out the insides and rinse the inside well so that there is no black film that gives bitterness. Then we cut it lengthwise and remove the backbone and all the bones.
STEP 2

Cut the mackerel fillet into small pieces.
STEP 3

We disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences and boil for five minutes in salted water, remove and place in a colander to drain the water, cool.
STEP 4

Grate fresh carrots on a Korean grater.
STEP 5

Cut the onion into half rings.
STEP 6

We cut the zucchini. If, like mine, it’s frozen, then defrost it.
STEP 7

I also have frozen tomatoes.

First place the onions and carrots in a baking dish.
STEP 9

Then sprinkle the prepared mackerel with salt and ground black pepper.
STEP 10

Place pieces of zucchini between the pieces of fish.
STEP 11

Next, lay out the cauliflower, disassembling it into small inflorescences.

Fill everything with cream and sprinkle with grated cheese.
STEP 13

Place tomato slices on top. Bake in the oven for one hour at 200 degrees. But it will be more accurate if you rely on your own oven, because every housewife knows its silent character.

After the time has passed, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool slightly.
STEP 15

The dish is ready to be served, it turned out very tender, juicy and at the same time airy.
