Lula kebab made from minced pork with starch in the oven
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

To prepare homemade lula kebab, take the required amount of pork. Choose meat with little fat. Cut the meat into pieces.
STEP 2

Pass the chopped meat through a meat grinder with large holes so that the pieces of minced meat are larger. Peel the onion and garlic and rinse in cold water. Then pass the peeled onion through a meat grinder, following the meat. Squeeze the peeled garlic using a garlic press. Add chopped onion and garlic to the bowl with the minced meat.
STEP 3

Add eggs to the bowl. Sprinkle with salt and spices to taste. As spices you can use ground black pepper and dry dill and parsley.
STEP 4

Mix the whole mass very well with your hands. If the minced meat is a bit runny in your opinion, you can add a little starch. Then beat the finished minced meat on the bottom of the bowl until it becomes sticky. This is necessary so that the mass becomes denser and does not fall apart during baking. Place the finished meat mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool thoroughly.
STEP 5

Prepare a baking tray. Cover it with cooking paper. Form small sausages from the minced meat and place them on a baking sheet. In general, lula kebab is made on skewers and baked over coals. But we cook them in the oven, at home, so you don’t have to use skewers. Place the formed sausages in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-50 minutes. If there is a grill in the oven, then at the end of baking, keep them under the grill a little more
