Love roll for Valentine's Day
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

DOUGH: Beat the cooled eggs with a mixer, add sugar, vanilla, flour, starch and cocoa. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment and smooth it out with a spatula.
STEP 2

Bake the roll in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
STEP 3

Remove the cake from the oven and quickly turn it over onto a towel and remove the parchment.
STEP 4

Place a rolling pin on the edge of the roll and roll it in a towel until it cools completely.
STEP 5

JELLY: It is best to prepare jelly the day before making this roll. Pour the juice over the gelatin and leave until the gelatin swells. Heat the juice with gelatin to 60 degrees, stirring, but do not boil! until the gelatin crystals are completely dissolved. Pour the jelly into a rectangular mold, cool and place in the refrigerator overnight. Remove the jelly from the mold and cut it into heart-sized sticks.
STEP 6

Use a cookie cutter to cut out these hearts from each block.
STEP 7

These are the hearts you get.
STEP 8

CREAM: Beat chilled cream with sugar and vanilla.
STEP 9

ROLL: Unroll the cooled roll. Grease the roll with cream. Place upside down hearts in the middle of the roll. Grease the hearts and the roll with the remaining cream so that it is all one.
STEP 10

Roll the roll end to end and pack in parchment. Place in the refrigerator for an hour, or better yet, longer.
STEP 11

Remove from the refrigerator and remove the parchment.
STEP 12

You can decorate to taste - either with powdered sugar or chocolate, etc.
STEP 13

This is how it looks when cut.
STEP 14

Enjoy your tea! Love and happiness! Happy Valentine's Day!
