STEP 1

How to make liver stewed in sour cream and onions? To prepare the dish, use brisket with enough fat. Cut it into small pieces.
STEP 2

Heat the pan until hot and fry the brisket over high heat on all sides until golden brown. At the same time, fat will be released from it, which will make the final taste of the dish juicy and aromatic.

Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
STEP 4

Add chopped onion to the pan. Mix well. Fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes until the onion becomes soft.
STEP 5

Rinse the pork liver and cut into medium-sized pieces. Don't forget to remove the veins and fat.
STEP 6

When the onion is well fried, add the chopped liver to the pan. Add a little salt to taste. Stir and cover with a lid. Fry the liver for 7-8 minutes, remembering to stir. Then, break one piece right in the pan, make sure that the color inside is uniform and no red liquid leaks out. And to, so to speak, “fix,” leave to fry for another 2-3 minutes.
STEP 7

Separately, dissolve flour and sour cream in cold water until smooth. Pour the mixture into the pan and stir.
STEP 8

Bring everything to a boil. During this time the mass will thicken a little. If, suddenly, the sauce seems thick to you, then you can add a little water and bring it to a boil again. You can serve immediately after preparing the dish. Stewed liver is best served with mashed potatoes. Bon appetit!
