How to make Lilac salad? First, if you don’t have a preparation, put the potatoes and carrots to boil (and beets, if you decide to add them not raw to the protein). Let them cook until done.

Place a saucepan with eggs on the second burner. Don’t forget to keep them in cold water for a long time so that they cool well.
STEP 3

Another burner will be occupied by a saucepan with chicken fillet. If desired, salt the water. As soon as it boils, you need to reduce the heat and cook until tender for about 25 minutes.

While these ingredients are being cooked, we need to take care of the other participants in this wonderful action. Finely chop the onion.
STEP 5

Slice the mushrooms. It is desirable to get small pieces.
STEP 6

You can start roasting. First, place the onion in the heated oil, and then the mushrooms.
STEP 7

When the chicken fillet is ready, chop it finely.
STEP 8

After salting the contents of the frying pan, let it simmer and, dividing the cooled eggs into white and yolk, combine the grated beets with the grated white (take half the white portion!). The result should be a mass reminiscent of the color of lilac.

If the carrots and potatoes have cooled down, you can assemble the salad. The first layer will be chicken fillet and its pieces. Lubricate them with mayonnaise.

Grate the potatoes on top and also grease with mayonnaise.

The further sequence of laying out the layers is something like this – grated carrots, mushrooms and onions.

Then repeat the layers, topping them with fresh cucumber. Don't forget to grease each layer with mayonnaise.
STEP 13

At the very end, grate the yolks and sprinkle them on the surface of the salad.
STEP 14

Arrange the greens on top, then arrange the mixture made from the egg whites (grate the egg whites and add the grated beets as they change color towards the lilac color) in the form of lilac sprigs. Salad ready!
