Lentil soup Masurdal

Indian cuisine soup will delight vegetarians and food lovers. Dal is a thick soup of traditional Indian cuisine, made from legumes and is very loved by vegetarians all over the world. Dal with red lentils is called Mansoordal. Thanks to the well-cooked red lentils, it’s very quick to prepare. And the presence of a large amount of vegetables and spices makes it tasty, nutritious and aromatic. The presence of hot pepper is not at all a prerequisite. If you don’t like the spicy taste of the dish, you can omit it.

Good day everyone! Masurdal prepared lentil soup today. I have red lentils, which cook very well and quickly in puree without pre-soaking. I didn’t add a lot of spices and garlic, because... small children will not understand. I decided that potatoes would not be superfluous here. I cut all the vegetables into identical small cubes. The soup was cooked very quickly in half an hour - so elegant, colorful and a very pleasant consistency. The lentils turned into a homogeneous puree without any chopping. The red lentils have a pleasant mild taste and, of course, in combination with vegetables it turned out simply excellent! The children really liked the soup. Thank you very much for the recipe!
