Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 50 mins
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Add sugar to heated drinking water and stir until completely dissolved.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Add salt and vegetable oil. Stir lightly.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Gradually add sifted flour and baking powder. Add vanillin at the tip of a knife, this will make the cake more fragrant.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Knead an elastic dough that will not stick to your hands. Divide the dough into two unequal parts, as in the photo.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

We distribute most of the dough into the pan by hand, having previously lined it with baking parchment. I have a 30cm uniform. Spread any jam you like on the dough, mine is blackcurrant. You can also add fresh or frozen fruit, but the main thing to remember is that fruit gives juice, do not add too much so that the pie does not become soggy.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Roll out a smaller part of the dough. We cut into strips and make a beautiful mesh out of them. The pie should be baked at 180°C until golden brown.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Take the finished pie out of the oven and let it cool completely. Bon appetit!
