Leg of lamb baked in the oven in a sleeve - express method

STEP 1
Trim excess fat from the leg of lamb.
STEP 2
Peel the garlic and cut into slices.
STEP 3
Stuff the meat with garlic, making small deep cuts in it with a knife.
STEP 4
Peel the onions and cut them into 2-4 parts.
STEP 5
We pass it through a meat grinder or grind it using a blender.
STEP 6
Pour cumin into a small container.
STEP 7
Next, add utskho-suneli.
STEP 8
We also send seasoning for meat there.

Add salt.

Add pepper.

Add onion pulp to the spices and mix thoroughly.

Coat the meat with the resulting mixture.

Rub it on all sides.

We cut a piece of the baking sleeve of a suitable size so that the leg fits and the ends can be tightly fastened.

We put the leg in the sleeve. Once again, distribute the onions evenly and secure the bag on both sides. Leave the meat to marinate for 30 minutes or a little longer, but no more than two hours. Use a sharp knife to make punctures in the sleeve to allow steam to escape during baking.
STEP 16
Bake the leg for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 220 degrees, then reduce the heat to 180 degrees. We calculate the remaining baking time based on the proportions - 20 minutes per kilogram. In my case it is 70 minutes. Remove the meat from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Drain off the sauce that has accumulated in the sleeve. We strain it and fill the gravy boat. Then we cut the meat, put it on plates and pour over the sauce. Bon appetit!
