STEP 1
How to prepare lecho without tomatoes for the winter? Prepare the products according to the list. If you make a preparation from fewer/more peppers, simply reduce/increase everything proportionally. Take peppers of different colors - it will be even better.
STEP 2
Wash the peppers thoroughly, remove the seeds, cut into strips of the desired thickness.
STEP 3
Place the pepper in a bowl or pan, add all the other ingredients: salt, peppercorns, sugar, vinegar, sunflower oil. Mix everything and leave it in the room for 3-4 hours.
STEP 4
During this time, the pepper will soften and release juice. Sterilize jars and lids in any way.
STEP 5
Fold the resulting salad tightly into jars and fill with the resulting liquid. Set it to sterilize. You can sterilize peppers in the usual way: pour water into a tank/pan, put a towel on the bottom, put jars of lecho, fill them with water up to the hangers, and bring to a boil. Sterilize 1-liter jars for 15 minutes. I use microwave sterilization. I put the jars in and turn on maximum power (a half-liter jar for 5-7 minutes).
STEP 6
Seal the jars with sterile screw caps or screw caps. And place under the blanket until completely cool. Store in a dry, cool place.
