STEP 1
How to cook lentil cutlets? Rinse the lentils, let them drain, cover with water at room temperature for at least 10 hours; there should be enough water so that the beans are completely covered. The room in which the beans will be located must be warm. During this time, the lentils will increase significantly in volume.
STEP 2
Peel the onion, rinse, finely chop and fry in a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown, let cool and add to the lentils, stir.
STEP 3
Grind the lentils and onions using a meat grinder or blender, I crushed them using a blender in two stages, if the mass turns out too steep, add a little boiled water at room temperature.
STEP 4
Add semolina to the minced meat, add salt and mix.
STEP 5
Form the cutlets (by the way, they hold their shape very well), pour vegetable oil into the frying pan (it is better to use a non-stick frying pan), heat it up, fry the cutlets for five minutes on one side, turn over and cover with a lid, fry under the lid for five minutes on the other side .
