  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make lazy lasagne from pita bread with minced meat in the oven? To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can use ready-made minced meat from the store or make it yourself from chicken fillet. You can also use finely chopped chicken meat. In addition to these ingredients, you can add onions to the minced meat.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Grate the cheese on a medium grater. You can use regular cheese, such as Russian or Gouda, or take Italian mozzarella for pizza.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced meat and fry, stirring, for 5 minutes until the excess liquid has evaporated. If you want the minced meat with onions, first peel it, chop it finely and fry it together with the minced chicken in a frying pan.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

During frying, add salt and pepper to the minced meat, add tomato paste and water. Mix everything carefully. You can replace tomato paste with fresh tomato, which needs to be peeled and grated on a fine grater.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Simmer everything together in the pan for about 2-3 minutes and turn off the heat. The filling should not be dry, with enough tomato sauce necessary to soak the pita bread.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cut the pita bread into several rectangles. Two of them should be larger than the baking dish, the rest should be slightly smaller than the baking dish.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place two large sheets of pita bread in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil (mine size is 16 × 20 cm) to form the bottom and sides.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place some filling on the pita bread and smooth it out. Sprinkle lightly with grated cheese on top.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place a smaller sheet of lavash on the minced meat and also distribute the minced meat and cheese over it. So, alternating layers of lavash and filling, form lasagna until all the minced meat is gone.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Cover the last layer of minced meat with a sheet of lavash and sprinkle generously with grated cheese. Place the lasagne pan in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Cool the finished lasagna slightly, cut into portions and serve warm. Bon appetit!

I was treated to a large package of thin pita bread. I wanted to make something interesting out of them. On the site I found a recipe for lazy lasagna made from pita bread with minced meat in the oven. It turns out this is a very tasty dish! My pita breads were large, I folded them in half and cut out rectangles. I layered it with two “cake layers” at once, and also placed the scraps between the layers. I made minced meat from 600 g of chicken breast. I crushed it in a blender along with onions. Lumps formed during frying, so I broke them up with a regular fork. I noted for myself that next time I will add more carrots and water. The more layers, the more liquid needed. I divided the filling into 4 parts and layered it with sheets of lavash. Additionally, I diluted a little tomato paste in water and greased the pita bread for juiciness. The cheese I used was Cheddar. The top was first coated with mayonnaise to make it soft, and then sprinkled with cheese. The lasagna turned out wonderful! Very tasty, juicy, tomato-y). The dish is hearty, one piece can satisfy your hunger. The kids and I ate all the lasagna in two days). Thank you for a new recipe that is interesting to me!

Lasagna made with French baguette is also very tasty! I grease the baguette slices on both sides with aromatic oil (mix vegetable oil with garlic, herbs and salt) and dry them in the oven for 3-4 minutes on each side. And then I lay out layers of sauces, dried slices and meat filling, bake in the oven, at the end of cooking, of course, sprinkle with cheese and put in the oven again for 10-15 minutes. It turns out to be a very good version of economical lasagna)

I made lasagna according to your recipe. It turned out VERY, VERY tasty. I increased the amount of ingredients because it was a larger form. Lavash was laid in two layers. Thank you, Nika, for the advice!!! I sprinkled each layer a little more with grated cheese. I did not add cheese to the bechamel. Such a great idea with lavash, I will make it again
