  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make lazy kefir pies in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Kefir can be replaced with the same amount of milk, fermented with less than a tablespoon of vinegar.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

First, boil two hard-boiled eggs. After the water boils, cook the eggs for 10-12 minutes, then the white and yolk will be completely cooked, and the eggs will be easier to cut. Keep the already boiled eggs in cold water for 10-15 minutes so that they clean well.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a fairly deep bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper and baking soda. There is no need to extinguish the soda; kefir will do the job perfectly. If you use milk with vinegar, then you don’t need to quench the soda either.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour kefir into the egg mixture. A reaction will begin between kefir and soda, and a large number of bubbles will appear on the surface of the mass.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Sift the wheat flour and add in parts to the egg-kefir mixture. The dough should be medium thick, like pancakes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Wash the green onions thoroughly and chop them finely. Cut the eggs into small cubes too.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the chopped onions and eggs in a bowl with the dough. Add corn. Mix everything well.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place a tablespoon of dough onto the pan. Fry the pies over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the finished pies on a plate lined with a paper napkin to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite sauces or just sour cream. Bon appetit!

Thanks for the recipe! For me he is just a godsend! Sometimes it’s really too lazy to start making pies, but you really want them. In this case, lazy kefir pies in a frying pan helped me out. I added one egg to the dough - that was enough. And since our son is very flexible in taste preferences, I divided the dough into two parts; in one part I added a boiled egg with green onions, and in the second part all the ingredients for the filling. Surprisingly, he ate lazy pies with and without corn)

Sometimes you really are too lazy to tinker with dough and make pies, but you really want them. Lazy kefir pies in a frying pan are a great option for super quick and easy baking. If there is no corn, then I think you can absolutely safely do without it. I wouldn’t say that they have a pie-like taste, but they don’t look very much like pancakes either. The taste of soda is not noticeable in the finished pies. They turned out soft and tender. Good on their own or with sour cream. These pies are perfect for breakfast. Thanks for the recipe!
