I haven’t made pita bread in a slow cooker yet, so when I saw this recipe, I decided to try it. The process of kneading the dough is absolutely simple and quite fast. I used a handful more flour (high grade) than indicated in the recipe. The dough turned out to be viscous and sticky. I baked the pita bread in a multicooker on the “Baking” mode for 40 minutes on one side and 20 minutes on the other. The bowl of my multicooker is 19 cm in diameter. The pita bread turned out incredibly fragrant. It is neutral in taste, but thanks to the oil it has a very pleasant creamy taste. The lavash came out fluffy and soft. It was eaten literally in a matter of minutes. I cooked lavash in a slow cooker in the morning, and in the evening I decided to repeat it, only in the oven, doubling the amount of ingredients. It turned out delicious too. Thank you very much for the recipe! I will now regularly prepare such wonderful pita bread.

Natasha, what is the structure of this lavash? Is it hard or soft, does it bend or not? It’s not very clear from the photo, it looks like a hard cake. pita bread should be soft at all. that is, are you yourself happy with the result or are you still not very happy? Is it even worth making lavash in a slow cooker? I bake in a bread machine

LILIAA, yes, the lavash is not the same as in the store! But quite edible! As for the multicooker, everything works out in my little cooker :)

I tried the recipe and it turned out 4 times thicker. Apparently the multicooker is too small and you need to divide the dough into 3 portions. But the taste is super! soft with crispy crust

Is salt unnecessary?
