Using this recipe, I made an amazing large Lenten cupcake with raisins and orange! I didn’t even expect that it would turn out so well) In the recipe, I replaced mineral water with lemon lemonade, because I didn’t have water on hand. I think this is not significant) I mixed the liquids separately, the dry ingredients separately. I didn’t have any raisins, but the orange zest was enough as a filler. At first the dough was too thick, but I added a little soda and got the right consistency. This suggests that flour can have very different properties; you should always focus on the result. The cake was baked in a mold with a diameter of 15 cm until the skewer was dry. I note that the baking rose significantly, even the top burst) The cake turned out crumbly, but not dry. The inside is soft and the outside has a delicious crispy crust. It is also bright orange. Incredibly delicious! Even while baking, the aroma of orange hovered throughout the house. And after cooling, the cake exuded such a stunning orange smell that it was simply swept off the table! I am delighted with this cupcake and thank the author for the wonderful recipe. I recommend everyone to try it, you won’t regret it!

Good afternoon. Are you sure you haven't forgotten anything in the recipe? For example eggs. Improve point three, because it is not clear where to add orange juice, and is it needed at all, and why did we squeeze it out if we only need the zest? Because your recipe does not produce a fragrant cupcake, but results in translated products and wasted time.

“Rinse the orange thoroughly, peel the zest and squeeze out the juice (100 ml of juice is required). In a bowl of suitable size, combine the orange zest, orange juice, sparkling water and vegetable oil.” What’s wrong with point 3? Re-read the recipe carefully, please. For many years I have been preparing all my dishes without eggs, so this is not a mistake. Be calm and restrained, everything will work out. Perhaps not right away.
