Lamb ribs in a slow cooker

Enjoy the unique taste of tender and rich lamb meat. Lamb is an infrequent guest on our table. The fact is that this meat is less familiar to our diet than pork or beef.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Lamb ribs, it is best to cut off 2 ribs, in this case the meat will be more juicy, rinse thoroughly in running water

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Dry the ribs with a paper towel, marinate: salt, pepper, spices to taste (I used different ones for meat and dry herbs), squeeze out 5 cloves of garlic and pour pomegranate juice and olive oil on top (just a little)

    STEP 5

Vegetable pillow: what you have on hand! This time: 1 onion, 1 carrot, 2 stalks of celery, a bunch of parsley and a bunch of dill, mix everything (cut at random - I cut it coarsely, because we don’t eat it, it’s purely used for cooking meat)

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Tomatoes in their own juice

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Prepare the gravy: cut 2-3 tomatoes and juice

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the pillow on the bottom of the bowl

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

    Place ribs on top

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Pour over the sauce and send to simmer on the “stew” mode for 1 hour standard

Your dish is ready! Bon appetit!!!

Very interesting recipe! Pomegranate juice, which is part of the marinade, makes the lamb soft, and further emphasizes the already specific aroma of lamb. When cooked in a slow cooker, the meat is soaked in all the vegetables, resulting in super juicy. I didn’t add celery; I think it’s superfluous in this dish. The Lamb ribs dish in a slow cooker is perfect for any feast. It will definitely surprise the guests, since pork and beef are already boring.

Unfortunately, I’ve never cooked ribs before! I tried it for the first time last Sunday, and my family loved it! True, I had pork ribs, and I marinated them simply, like for a barbecue, and then baked them in the sleeve. Your recipe contains lamb ribs and a very interesting marinade! It should turn out great! I really want to try this deliciousness! I just don’t know if it will be possible to find lamb in our city... And why is the vegetable pillow only for cooking?? I think it will soak up the meat juices so well that it will make a great side dish! You just need to take it in larger quantities. Thank you very much for the recipe! If I can’t find lamb, I’ll make it with pork ribs!
