Lamb in a sleeve in the oven

STEP 1

How to bake lamb in a sleeve in the oven? Prepare your food. You can use any part of lamb, I used leg of lamb. It is better if the lamb is chilled rather than frozen. Wash the meat and dry well. Trim off the fat if there is too much.
STEP 2

Peel the garlic. Finely chop half the garlic.
STEP 3

Mix chopped garlic with salt, ground cumin and pepper.
STEP 4

Stuff the leg with the remaining whole garlic and rub it on all sides with the salt mixture.
STEP 5

Place the meat in the sleeve.
STEP 6

Place the remaining garlic and salt (usually the mixture crumbles a little) into the mayonnaise. Add soy sauce there and stir.
STEP 7

Pour mayonnaise over meat.
STEP 8

Tie the edges and shake well so that the mayonnaise is distributed throughout the entire sleeve. Place the sleeve with the lamb on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 5-6 (minimum 3) hours to marinate.

When the meat is marinated, peel the potatoes and cut each tuber in half or into more pieces if the potatoes are large.
STEP 10

Place the potatoes in the sleeve next to the meat (on top of the meat), tie the sleeve.
STEP 11

Turn the sleeve over with the potatoes facing down and place on a baking sheet. Get ready. Cook at 220 degrees for 20 minutes, then at 160 degrees for 1.5 hours.
STEP 12

Cut the sleeve to create a crust on the meat.
STEP 13

Peel the onion, cut into halves. Salt and pepper the cut area (with a mixture of pepper and cumin), dip in oil and place on a baking sheet cut sides down. Return the pan to the oven and cook for another 30 minutes at 160 degrees.
STEP 14

Prepare tomatoes and peppers for serving - cut them nicely.
STEP 15

Place meat, potatoes and onions on a heated platter.
STEP 16

Arrange the tomatoes beautifully.
STEP 17

And pepper. Pour the juice from the sleeve over the dish. Decorate with greens.
