  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake German kuchen chocolate cake? Prepare the necessary ingredients. To begin, beat chicken eggs into a bowl of suitable size, add sugar and vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer until white. This will take about five minutes at high mixer speed.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour milk into beaten eggs and add vegetable oil.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour cocoa into the egg mixture and mix everything gently. Do this with a spoon, spatula or whisk - because the mixer will simply spray the cocoa. When the cocoa gets wet, then you can go through the mixture with a mixer to remove all the lumps.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

This is the final mass you should get.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Drain one 250 ml glass of chocolate mixture and set it aside.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the rest of the mixture and mix everything so that there are no lumps. Thanks to sifting, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished cake will turn out fluffier and airier.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a baking dish with baking paper. And pour the dough into the mold. Mine measures 20 by 30 centimeters. Bake the pie in a preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Determine the exact time yourself, based on the type of oven you have!

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

To check if the kuchen is ready, I pierce it with a toothpick. If it comes out dry, then the cake is well baked. If pieces of dough stick to the toothpick, you should keep the pie in the oven a little longer.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Now pour the contents of the glass into which we poured the chocolate mixture in the fifth step on top of the hot baked cake.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Spread the filling over the entire surface of the cake and let the chocolate kuchen cool completely. Then you can cut it into portions and serve. Bon appetit!

I love preparing something for teatime. It's always nice to drink tea with something tasty. This time I wanted to make kuchen, a German chocolate pie. This pie is quite simple to prepare, but the result is very tasty. I baked the kuchen in a rectangular pan measuring 26x17 cm. I didn’t use parchment paper, I just greased the pan with vegetable oil. The pie took 55 minutes to bake in my oven. The cake rose surprisingly high. For it, you still need to choose a shape with high sides. I soaked the kitchen with filling in several passes, since a large amount of filling was not absorbed immediately. The kuchen turned out to be very fluffy and soft, it was perfectly soaked. It has a pronounced chocolate taste. After the cake cooled, the topping looked like icing. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!
