Kefir and banana cocktail
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Prepare ingredients for making a cocktail. Take kefir with the fat content you prefer, it’s not critical. With fat you will get a richer taste and thicker drink; with low fat you don’t have to worry about calories. It is better to have a banana that is as ripe as possible; an unripe one will not give the drink a banana aroma and taste. If you are preparing a cocktail for a child, then remove the kefir from the refrigerator in advance so that it is not very cold.
STEP 2

Peel the banana and cut into rings. In general, you don’t even have to dirty the board and break the banana into pieces straight into the blender.
STEP 3

What to use to shake the cocktail. The most suitable gadget for this is, of course, a blender. The cocktail will whip up quickly and will have a very pleasant, silky consistency. But if you don’t have such an assistant, then a good old immersion blender will come to the rescue. Now almost every mixer has such an attachment. A chopper will also work if you make no more than one serving in it.
STEP 4

Place banana slices in a blender bowl and pour in kefir. Shake the cocktail for a minute. There should be no large pieces of banana left in it.
STEP 5

Pour the finished kefir smoothie with banana into glasses and serve immediately. You shouldn’t keep this cocktail for a long time, the banana will darken and spoil the appearance.
