STEP 1
How to make juicy steamed chicken cutlets without a steamer? Prepare your ingredients. You can take ready-made minced meat, but it is better, of course, to prepare it yourself by chopping the meat using a blender or meat grinder. In addition to chicken, you can use turkey meat.
STEP 2
Peel the apple (preferably sweet and sour varieties) and grate on a medium grater. In addition to apples, you can use other vegetables (zucchini, cabbage).
STEP 3
Add grated apple, semolina, a pinch of paprika and salt to the minced chicken. Knead everything thoroughly. You can add other spices to your taste or do without them and without paprika (if you are cooking, for example, for a small child). Focus on your preferences.
STEP 4
Fill the pan with water a third or a little more, but the container with the cutlets should not touch the water. How to choose the right pan, read the article at the link at the end of the recipe. Add allspice to a pan of water (for flavor) and place on the fire. Bring water to a boil over medium heat.
STEP 5
While the water is boiling, with wet hands, form uniform, medium-sized patties.
STEP 6
Place the cutlets in a colander lightly greased with vegetable oil. The larger the diameter of the colander, the more cutlets it will fit. If desired, sprinkle the cutlets with ground paprika.
STEP 7
Place the container with the cutlets over a pan of boiling water.
STEP 8
Cover with a lid. Cook the cutlets for about 30 minutes. Depending on the features of your stove, the chosen pan and the size of the cutlets, you may need a little more or less time. Make sure there is always water in the pan. It evaporates quite quickly. If necessary, add another glass of water. If the cutlets are not ready after the specified time, then add another 5-10 minutes.
STEP 9
Steamed cutlets without a steamer are ready. You can sprinkle them with ground paprika again. Bon appetit!
