Place the rice in a colander and rinse it very thoroughly under running cold water. Wash the rice in several waters. Periodically drain the rice water into a bowl directly through a colander and check the quality of the water.

Ultimately, after the last rinse, the water should be almost clear. This means that starch (the main enemy of fluffy rice) has practically been washed out of it. I got this kind of water.

Bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil in a saucepan. As soon as the water boils, add salt.

Next add the washed rice. Stir the rice very carefully, so as not to damage the rice grains, so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
STEP 6
Boil about 1.5 - 2 liters of water in a kettle. You will need it at the end of cooking the rice. Cook the rice for about 20 minutes. At the same time, taste a grain of rice to see if it is ready, so as not to overcook it. As soon as the rice has reached the desired level of cooking, discard it in a colander and rinse again, but this time with boiling water. Let the water drain.
STEP 7
Place the rice back into the pan and add a piece of soft butter. Stir. You can also add odorless sunflower oil. Delicious, fluffy rice is ready for a side dish!
