Honey cupcakes with kefir

You can easily and quickly prepare such aromatic pastries for tea! Very appetizing, aromatic, satisfying muffins that can be served with tea or coffee, or you can have breakfast with them. Making these cupcakes is easy and simple, and most importantly, fast. You can cook them with children and treat them to children, the main thing is to know that children are not allergic to honey. Despite the presence of both sugar and honey in the recipe, the muffins do not turn out sickly sweet. They can be made with a filling that is neutral in terms of sweetness: such as seeds or nuts - after all, both options go well with honey.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Products for making honey cupcakes. The flour must be sifted first.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a deep bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking soda or baking powder, vanilla.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add egg, sour milk or kefir, and honey to this mixture.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Mix this entire mixture thoroughly with a fork for 3-5 minutes until a soft, homogeneous dough forms.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

I have silicone molds for children, with a pattern on the bottom. The cupcakes will come in different shapes and with different designs. So I lightly grease the bottom and sides of the molds with vegetable oil, sprinkle the bottom with seeds, and then fill the molds halfway with dough. If you have standard identical muffin tins, then you will first fill them with dough, and then sprinkle seeds or nuts on top of the dough.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Let the filled molds sit for a while. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the cupcakes for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. During baking, the products increase in size by 1.5-2 times. From the specified amount of products I got 14 cupcakes.

This is what the finished cupcake looks like in cross section. Enjoy your tea!

Hello! I baked cookies or gingerbreads according to the recipe “Honey cupcakes with kefir”. Still, I reduced the amount of sugar (75 g) and honey (100 g), it is more convenient for me to measure in grams (this is a very convenient function for translating measures on the site), i.e. To. It is easier to weigh the dough into a bowl for kneading on a scale than to measure it with a glass of honey. I whisked honey and sugar with an egg, because this allows the sugar to dissolve better. Then I added kefir. I sifted the 1st grade flour and mixed it with soda. Then I poured it into the liquid mixture and it turned out to be a rather thick dough. I placed it with a spoon on a baking sheet in the form of cookies, the dough holds its shape and does not spread, sprinkled lightly crushed walnut kernels on top, lightly pressing them down. They baked at a temperature of 180 degrees for 15 minutes. They turned out very soft , fragrant cookies, more reminiscent of gingerbread. It’s good that I reduced the amount of honey and sugar, it turned out very sweet. But just right with tea! Thanks for the recipe!
