My family really loves the Honey cake, although I don’t eat honey itself, only in baked goods. I usually roll out the dough, cut out circles and bake 12 cakes. But I liked the quick recipe for my favorite cake. I wanted to try making honey cake in 30 minutes without rolling out the cakes. Of course, it didn’t take half an hour to prepare. In total, it took me 1.5 hours for all the cooking, excluding soaking time. I prepared the dough according to the recipe. The honey and soda foamed heavily on the stove. Instead of butter, I used butter margarine for the dough. The dough came out dark in color and the consistency reminded me of boiled condensed milk. I baked honey cakes, let them cool, and cut out round cakes to fit the dish. I made crumbs from the leftovers using a chopper. I coated the cakes with cream, sprinkled them with crumbs and put them in the refrigerator overnight. Magnificent cake! It is fragrant, bright in color, very tender and soft.
