Georgian appetizer for barbecue Eggplant on the grill

Georgian cuisine is full of herbs, vegetables and seasonings! Tasty and healthy! Grilled eggplants are delicious! I cook everything from eggplants: caviar and the spicy fried appetizer “Ogonyok”, I can’t count it all. But when the summer day is approaching sunset, bringing relative coolness, and the barbecue is fragrantly smoking on the lawn by the river, everyone is looking forward to the fact that not only traditional sauces, but also a Georgian eggplant appetizer will be served with the barbecue. And it will certainly appear if all the eggplants at the nearest market are not sold out early in the morning. Even for the sake of this amazing snack, I won’t wake up at dawn on vacation, this is completely not in my rules. But if I got eggplants, then this food will certainly be there.

I’m already preparing it, we love eggplant, but I’d add some garlic, do you mind?

it took about an hour, I baked it in a slow cooker for 20 minutes, on the “baking” program, I still added a clove of garlic, but that wasn’t enough for me, overall it’s very tasty, I just love eggplants

I’m probably somewhere far away in my soul a Georgian! I really love both kebab and eggplant. But my daughters don’t like eggplant, so I have to cook it just for myself. but I’ll still make this snack, it’s very simple, and the picture looks like it’ll make your mouth water!

I love eggplants in any form, but I just won’t say anything about baked ones. They prepare quickly, without any red tape. And the dishes come out with exquisite taste. I would also add baked tomatoes to this recipe, and then grate these tomatoes. Still, a little sourness wouldn't hurt. Or add a little vinegar. It will be absolutely wonderful.

We are going to the dacha for a barbecue this weekend and I found a recipe for an appetizer for eggplant barbecue. Now, of course, is not the season, eggplants have not yet appeared on the market, but I took note of this recipe because I always like eggplant dishes. And this recipe was simply amazing. I will look forward to the appearance of eggplants on market shelves and will definitely use this recipe.
