STEP 1

How to make fried potatoes with chicken in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I take a chicken leg, but it can be any part of the chicken - thighs, legs, breast. My potatoes are medium sized. Choose non-starchy varieties so that the potatoes retain their shape when frying. If you wish, you can add garlic, it will be more flavorful. STEP 2

Rinse the legs in running water and dry with a paper towel. I will fry chicken without bones (the bones will be used for broth). But you can fry it whole, then make the pieces smaller so that the chicken is well fried. Remove the flesh from the legs and cut into medium pieces.
STEP 3

Wash the potatoes in running water with a brush, peel and cut into pieces. It is better not to make the pieces very thick, otherwise the potatoes will be fried and get a golden brown crust.
STEP 4

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and fry the chicken on each side. It is better to take a good frying pan on which the potatoes will not burn. STEP 5

Add the chopped potatoes, stir and fry the potatoes and chicken over medium heat, uncovered for about ten minutes.
STEP 6

Peel the onion, chop as desired and add to the potatoes and chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Without covering the pan with a lid, fry the potatoes and chicken until cooked, stirring constantly.
STEP 7

Serve the finished fried potatoes with chicken and onions hot. Fresh vegetables, both sliced and in the form of salads, go perfectly with this dish. In winter, you can serve pickles, canned vegetables and salads.
