Fried pies with rice, egg and green onions

STEP 1

Dissolve yeast, salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tbsp in warm water. a spoonful of softened butter. Add flour and knead the dough. You may need less or more flour, depending on the consistency of the dough. Read more about this in the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 3

Place the dough in a warm place for about an hour to proof.
STEP 4

Wash the rice, put it in cold salted water, add butter. Pour 2-3 times more water into the pan than the volume of rice. Cook the rice over low heat with the lid closed, without stirring. As soon as the water has completely evaporated, the rice is cooked.
STEP 5

Finely chop the onion.
STEP 6

Boil hard-boiled eggs, peel and finely chop. combine with rice.
STEP 7

Combine eggs and rice with onions. Add melted butter to the filling, don’t forget to add salt and stir.
STEP 8

Knead the risen dough, divide into small portions and roll into small flat cakes. Put stuffing on them
STEP 9

Pinch the edges and thus mold all the pies.
STEP 10

Place the finished pies on a wide plate and you can have breakfast or a delicious dinner, depending on the time of day.
