Fried chicken salad

STEP 1
How to make fried chicken salad? Prepare the ingredients you will need for the recipe. To make the finished dish look more appetizing and bright, use bell peppers of different colors if possible. First of all, boil the eggs hard and cool.
STEP 2
Rinse the chicken breast and dry with paper towels. Cut each piece of meat lengthwise into two slices. Sprinkle with your favorite spices and salt to taste on both sides. I used a pinch of smoked paprika, ground pepper, garlic powder and dried basil. Rub the spices over the surface of the fillet and leave to marinate for 5-10 minutes.
STEP 3
Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Fry the chicken on both sides over high heat until cooked through and until a delicious golden crust appears. This will take very little time (5-10 minutes). Do not overcook the fillet in the pan, otherwise it will become dry.
STEP 4
Place the fried pieces in a separate plate and cool.
STEP 5
Rinse vegetables and lettuce leaves. Cut the skin off the cucumbers if necessary. Peel the eggs, cut the bell peppers into two parts and remove the seeds and core.
STEP 6
Dry each lettuce leaf thoroughly. Tear the sheets randomly into medium-sized pieces. Cut the cooled chicken into thin slices with a sharp knife or chop it with your hands, whichever is more convenient for you. Place the salad and fillet in a deep, suitable-sized container.
STEP 7
Cut the cucumbers into thin circles or semicircles, and chop the bell pepper into large strips or cubes. Place in a salad bowl.
STEP 8
Cut the eggs into small slices and add to all the ingredients in the bowl.
STEP 9
For a richer taste, you can add onions to the list of ingredients. Thinly sliced red salad onions will look bright and beautiful. Add mayonnaise, salt to taste and dry spices to the bowl. Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or natural yogurt. Or you can make homemade mayonnaise. STEP 10
Before serving, stir the salad and garnish with a few sprigs of parsley or dill.
