Step-by-step preparation

In a mixture of warm milk and water, dilute yeast and sugar, mix everything and leave for 5 minutes.
STEP 3
Add the egg and melted butter. Mix everything again.
STEP 4
Sift flour with salt and add to milk mixture. Mix the dough.
STEP 5
Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, roll it into a bun and place it in a large bowl greased with vegetable oil, leave in a warm place to rise for 1 hour. It may take more or less time, make sure that the dough increases in volume by 2-3 times.

Place the risen dough on the work surface and divide into 2 equal parts.
STEP 7
Roll each part into a rectangle, 2-3 mm thick. Grease the surface with melted butter.
STEP 8
Fold the rectangle as shown in the photo.
STEP 9
And fold it again, as in the photo. And put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
STEP 10
After 15 minutes, take out the dough and again roll out each piece into a rectangle. Lubricate the surface again with melted butter.
STEP 11
And roll it up.
STEP 12
Place the finished rolls on a baking sheet and make cuts. And leave to rise for 20-30 minutes. Before baking, brush the baguettes with egg if desired (I only brushed with egg white) and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
STEP 13
Bake baguettes in a preheated oven at 180 C for about 20-30 minutes.
