  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make fluffy pancakes with yogurt? Prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. It is better to take natural yogurt, without additives. It should be at room temperature, so take the yogurt out of the refrigerator in advance and measure out the required amount. Take a large, selected egg.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour the yogurt into a saucepan and heat slightly over low heat with constant stirring. In this case, the yogurt should remain homogeneous. If it comes out in flakes, it means it was overheated and the whey has separated.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a bowl, combine the egg, vegetable oil, sugar and salt. Mix thoroughly with a whisk until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add warm yoghurt and stir again.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add the flour sifted with baking powder and mix the dough, breaking up all the lumps.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The dough should turn out like thin, flowing sour cream. The exact amount of flour depends on the fat content and moisture content of the yogurt, the size of the egg, and also on the quality of the flour itself.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Heat a dry non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Pour 2 tbsp into the center. l. dough (I poured one large salad spoon, forming a round piece). Fry the pancake for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Then turn it over to the other side and bake for about the same amount until golden brown. Bake the rest of the pancakes in the same way.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Stack the finished pancakes on top of each other. You can serve with honey, jam, sweet sauces, fresh fruits and berries. Bon appetit!

The fluffy yoghurt pancakes turned out great! Our family really loves these little plump pancakes, and I love baking them. To knead the dough, I increased the amount of ingredients so that the amount of yogurt was 270 ml. This is easy to do using the site's calculator. I used homemade thick yogurt. I heated it in the microwave. The dough turned out like thin sour cream, as written in the recipe. It seems to me that it is not necessary to be thicker, otherwise the pancakes may not bake. I have a large frying pan, and I was able to bake three pancakes on it at once. As soon as they were covered with bubbles, I turned them over to the other side. There were quite a lot of them, there was enough for everyone. They are really lush and porous inside. I added less sugar to the dough, so my pancakes turned out slightly sweet. This gave me the opportunity to experiment with tasty additions. We topped them with honey, sour cream, thick fruit yogurt and strawberry jam. Very tasty, I recommend it to everyone!
