But it is advisable not to add any more sugar, otherwise the pancakes will burn in the pan.

    Pour room temperature kefir into a saucepan and heat slightly until the whey separates. How can you tell whether the whey has separated or not? When stirring, small white flakes will be visible on the spoon. As soon as they appear, you can remove the kefir from the heat.

Pancakes without yeast and eggs are fluffy, quick and easy to make, but I still added 2 tbsp more sugar; the sugar did not burn when frying the pancakes. The pancakes turned out delicious, slightly sweet. This is what I wanted.

One note about the cooking process - soda should be added at the last moment, when all other ingredients are well mixed. Stir once and don’t stir again! Gently spoon into the pan! then they won't be flat!
