Flourless oatmeal pie with bananas
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Preparing the ingredients. If desired, you can add ginger, chopped walnuts and vanillin, they will give the pie a pleasant taste and aroma, but you don’t have to add them, then the pie will have an exclusively banana taste, which banana lovers will appreciate.*-
STEP 2
Peel the bananas and mash them into a puree with a fork. Add sugar to the bowl with bananas and mix well until the sugar dissolves.
STEP 3
Beat the eggs into a bowl, beat them with a fork and mix them with the banana mixture.
STEP 4
Add baking soda and chopped walnuts to the bowl with the mixture. The nuts can be finely ground in a coffee grinder, the taste and aroma of the walnut will remain, but there will be no hard pieces of nut in the pie. If someone likes the nuts to crunch in baked goods, you can simply chop them with a knife. Mix the dough mixture.
STEP 5
Pour oatmeal into a bowl. It’s better to take the extra type from the box, this type of oatmeal does not need to be washed, the cereal does not contain dust and various types of impurities. It is better to rinse and dry regular rolled oats.
STEP 6
Pour the mixture with milk at room temperature. We use fattier milk; if you use milk with a low fat content, you can add a piece of softened butter to the dough, the cake will be softer and tastier, with a pleasant creamy taste.
STEP 7
Mix the dough and let it sit for a while while we preheat the oven. During this time, the oatmeal will swell a little. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with semolina. Place a tablespoon of dough into the pan; it should be as thick as sour cream. Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven. Bake the pie for about 30 minutes.
STEP 8
It should brown well and acquire a chocolate hue. Cool the pie and serve with tea, cocoa, coffee or milk. Enjoy your tea!
