STEP 1
How to cook porridge from flax seeds? First, prepare the necessary ingredients. You can take any dried fruits you like: prunes, dried apricots, raisins, dried cherries, etc. If you wish, you can make the porridge without honey at all and get by with the sweetness from banana and dried fruits. You can also replace honey with a sweetener or regular sugar.
STEP 2
Sort the flax seeds and rinse thoroughly. Fill the flax with clean drinking water and leave at room temperature for 8 hours. During this time, the flax will swell and become sticky.
STEP 3
Peel the banana and cut into rings. Place the bananas in a container, cover with a lid and place in the freezer for 1 hour.
STEP 4
Rinse the dried fruits, pour boiling water over them and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then drain the water. This is necessary so that the dried fruits become soft. Hard dried fruits are very difficult to grind in a blender. Up to the breakdown or overheating of the device.
STEP 5
Place the swollen flax seeds into a blender bowl. Beat at high speed. In this case, some of the seeds may remain intact. You can also grind everything with an immersion blender.
STEP 6
Add dried fruits and frozen bananas to the flax. Whisk everything together until a thick, homogeneous mass is obtained.
STEP 7
Place the finished flax seed porridge on plates, sprinkle with sesame seeds and flax seeds, garnish with banana slices and mint. Serve. Bon appetit!
